All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, equipped for every good work.

2 Timothy 3:16–17 (ESV)

At Seven Springs, the Bible is at the heart of everything we do. We read the Bible, preach the Bible, pray the Bible, sing the Bible, and study the Bible because we believe that “man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that comes from the mouth of God” (Matthew 4:4).

Through our Lord’s Day worship, Sunday School, Wednesday evening studies, and other teaching, we seek over the course of roughly eight to nine years to expose the congregation to the whole counsel of God across all sixty-six books of Scripture. We also encourage individuals and families to read through the Bible regularly in private and family worship.

Our preaching and teaching arise from the text of Scripture itself, ordinarily working through books of the Bible in sequence. Our pastor’s desire, in the Lord’s providence and timing, is eventually to preach and teach through the whole Bible, so that the church may be nourished by all that God has spoken.
